In the style of: The X-Files

A project aiming to recreate, "in the style of," an exact replica of an iconic setting from a famous TV series or film.

Since The X-Files is my favorite show, the choice was obvious. Fox Mulder's office, the FBI's top special agent, is the most iconic location in the series. As is his famous "I want to believe" poster, a major symbol of pop culture.

    Final render

" Sorry, no one down here but the FBI's most unwanted "

The project culminated in a frame-by-frame pre-rendered video created in 3ds Max. Rendering was done with V-Ray, using a variety of textures ranging from the Megascan collection to actual FBI UFO archives.

Post-production was completed in Adobe After Effects. The opening credits were also created using Adobe After Effects, and are identical to those of the series' pilot episode.
