Horsa Glider

The Horsa glider was a British military glider used during World War II to transport troops and equipment directly to operational areas. Constructed primarily of wood, it could carry around thirty soldiers or light equipment. Towed by an aircraft and then dropped near the objective, it allowed for precise and silent landings behind enemy lines.

HMS Albion

HMS Albion was a Royal Navy battleship launched in 1898 and belonging to the Canopus class. Designed for overseas operations for the British Empire, it was lighter and faster than previous battleships. The ship participated in several operations in the early 20th century, including the Dardanelles Campaign during the First World War.

USS Colorado

The USS Colorado (BB-45) was a battleship of the United States Navy commissioned in 1923 and the lead ship of the Colorado class. Armed with eight 406 mm guns, it was among the most powerful battleships of its time. During World War II, it participated in several major operations in the Pacific, including coastal bombardments during the Allied landings.

USS Missouri

The USS Missouri (BB-63) was a battleship of the United States Navy, commissioned in 1944 and belonging to the Iowa class. Heavily armed and fast for a ship of its class, it participated in several major operations in the Pacific during World War II. It is best known for hosting the signing of the Japanese surrender on September 2, 1945, officially marking the end of the conflict.

Boeing B-17

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American heavy bomber used primarily by the US Army Air Forces during World War II. Designed for high-altitude strategic bombing, it was renowned for its ruggedness and formidable armament. The B-17 played a major role in the Allied air campaigns in Europe, particularly in the bombing raids over Germany.

Yak-3

The Yakovlev Yak-3 was a Soviet fighter aircraft that entered service in 1944 during World War II. Light, fast, and highly maneuverable, it was particularly effective in low- and medium-altitude combat. It was widely used on the Eastern Front and became one of the most feared fighters of the Luftwaffe.

USS Lexington

The USS Lexington (CV-2) was one of the first aircraft carriers in the U.S. Navy, commissioned in 1927 after initially being designed as a battlecruiser. Converted to meet the needs of naval aviation, it played a significant role in the early stages of World War II in the Pacific. It was eventually sunk in May 1942 during the Battle of the Coral Sea, one of the first major carrier battles in history.

P-47 / Tiger I / Nagato

The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was a robust and heavily armed American fighter-bomber used for escort and ground attack during World War II. The Tiger I was a German heavy tank feared for its powerful 88 mm gun and thick armor. The MIJ Nagato, commissioned in 1920, was one of the most powerful battleships in the Imperial Japanese Navy and notably served as the flagship during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
