A multidisciplinary education at the service of History
A multidisciplinary academic background supports this approach. Trained in history with a specialization in archaeology, then in digital humanities focused on cultural and heritage mediation, this academic path was further enriched by a specialization in 3D, video games, and game art. At the crossroads of these disciplines emerges a shared ambition: to put digital tools and 3D creation at the service of the transmission, promotion, and understanding of history and heritage.
A passion for the past
The past plays a vital role in our lives and in our society. It serves as a point of reference, a foundation upon which to build and to move towards the future. A civilization deprived of memory struggles to evolve without repeating the same mistakes.
The experiences and actions of those who came before us, when preserved, become invaluable guides. They allow us to learn, progress, and better understand the world we live in.
Preserving the past does not mean preserving everything indiscriminately. History is also made up of evolution and transformation. But certain traces, certain moments, and certain testimonies deserve to be protected because they carry irreplaceable historical, cultural, or personal value.
Images: Witnesses to Memory
Photographs are much more than just images. They are witnesses to the past and to history, fragments of memory where recollections, emotions and events intertwine.
However, these images were captured using the technologies of their time. Over time, they degrade: they tarnish, tear, and sometimes deteriorate irreparably. Little by little, the moment they represented can lose its power and clarity.
Restoration and recolorization bring these images back to life. They offer a new perspective on the past and allow these memories to be passed on to present and future generations.
A commitment to quality
Passionate about history, I pursued university studies in both history and digital humanities. This dual approach allows me to combine historical research and technological tools in a single process.
Each project is based on in-depth research, accompanied by documentation on the sources and references used.
In the context of photographic restoration and recoloring, each intervention is carried out manually, like a true artistic endeavor, respecting the original image.
No artificial intelligence-based colorization software is used in this process.
